What is Amaranth and why is it in a cracker?
Amaranth is a gluten free pseudo-grain similar to Quinoa with a moist texture and a fantastic nutty flavor which marries perfectly with the Earthiness of Buckwheat in our Breads. But, in our crackers, the flavor takes a whole new dimension! It has a tangy aftertaste that simply becomes addictive. Enjoy with nut cheeses, top them with sardines or mild fish spreads, this is our superstar item.
Ingredients: Organic Buckwheat, Water, Oragnic Amaranth, Organic Ionized Salt, Organic Sesame Seeds (for crust), Organic Coconut oil (for pan).
